Martin Auger is the regional insurance planning consultant for the western region with Raymond James Insurance Group. Martin is available to assist advisors in all facets of their clients’ insurance needs to develop a comprehensive financial plan.

Full-service support with deep industry expertise
With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Martin started his career as a financial advisor with Ameriprise and Great Western Bank. He has held multiple sales and distribution management positions with MetLife, AXA and Foresters Financial, specializing in life insurance, annuities, long-term care and disability income wealth planning strategies. During the majority of his tenure, Martin has supported financial advisors in the wirehouse, broker/dealer, and bank and credit union channels, specializing in assisted point of sale. In addition to these roles, Martin has held various management roles in national accounts and operations.

Martin studied finance at San Diego State University and currently resides in Carlsbad, California. In his free time, he enjoys surfing, snowboarding, fishing and playing golf with his four sons.
