Sara Vanderhorst strives for excellence in serving our clients, and assisting our team, every day. She oversees administration and operations for our team, and assists our clients with all of their questions and requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Sara enjoys fostering close relationships with the families and individuals that we serve, and helps to ensure that they receive the highest level of attention and support. She manages a wide range of administrative matters relating to account maintenance, service requests and client communications.  Empathetic and detail-oriented, her goal is to make it easy and effortless to work with our team.

Before joining The Dexter Group in March 2019, Sara was a financial service representative at TD Bank and an assistant manager at Metropolitan Bank. She holds an associate’s degree in elementary education from the University of Southern Maine.

She is originally from Ft. Worth, Texas, and now lives in Saco where she raised her son, Keegan. When not in the office, Sara enjoys hiking, sailing and spending time with her son (and her labradoodle, KC) while exploring Maine. She is a member and volunteer at East Point Community.
