Barry also has extensive experience working with professional athletes, and has developed an in-depth appreciation and understanding of their unique financial needs.

A graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, Barry earned his bachelor’s degree in economics in 1984. He began his financial services career that same year by accepting a role with E.F. Hutton. In 1990, he joined A.G. Edwards, which ultimately became part of Wells Fargo Advisors. In 2019, Barry joined Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James, inspired by Raymond James’ balanced platform of independent advisors and institutional support.

Originally from North Andover, Massachusetts, Barry now makes his home in Charlestown. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Betsy, and their son, Will. Barry was inducted into the St. John’s Prep Athletic Hall of Fame in 2016 and became a St. John’s Prep alumni board member in 2017. He is an avid skier and golfer and a member of Salem Country Club.
