John is a Managing Director and Financial Advisor for Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James. As a member of the DeLappe & Economacos team, John has nearly 30 years of experiences in the financial services/banking industry. John gained valuable experience at PaineWebber (now UBS) and attended their sponsored Equity Institute advanced program in New York. More recently, he was a part of Deutsche Bank Wealth Management.

John is adept at serving the needs of individuals, corporations and entrepreneurs using innovative research tools available through Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James. As a client, you will appreciate John’s proactive approach to investing that is customized to meet your individual financial goals.

John was initially drawn to the industry by a desire to help people with one of the most important aspects of their lives: their financial well-being. His relationship skills, along with being an active listener, help ensure clients’ investment plans are well-suited for their needs. Having a service-orientated personality, he strives to make sure his clients are well informed regarding changes in the economy and how it may affect their portfolios.

Originally from Boston, John attended the University of Miami on scholarship earning his B.B.A. John also serves on the Client Advisor Leadership Council at Alex. Brown. Today, he resides in Coral Gables, Florida, with his wife, Elsa, and their two children. He is an active volunteer with Cystic Fibrosis of Miami, as well as other charitable organizations focused on feeding the homeless in Miami. John enjoys traveling and outdoor activities such as running, skiing and boating.
