Jim Galloway is a Director and Client Advisor at Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James. Prior to that he served as a director and client advisor within Deutsche Bank’s Private Wealth Management division. Jim provides comprehensive strategies and investment management consulting services for institutions and high-net-worth families.

Jim has held the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation since March of 2000 and has maintained the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®) designation since March of 2011, both of these from the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA®). Jim also completed The Wharton School’s Securities Industry Institute course of study. 

Prior to joining DB Alex. Brown in 1996, he was a senior capital and business strategist with RJR Nabisco’s Corporate Finance Group. He holds an MBA degree from Wake Forest University’s Babcock Graduate School of Management, and a BSBA degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a volunteer, Jim currently serves on PFR Youth Ministries’ missions planning committee, Son Servants’ missions staff, Summit School’s endowment committee, Sole to Soul, The Winston-Salem Street School’s board and Old Town Club’s board.
