Joe's primary role is to provide customized investment solutions and comprehensive financial plans to clients. Joe and his team are dedicated to the highest levels of client service by managing, maintaining, and building client wealth responsibly and tax-efficiently. Joe believes a foundation of transparency and trust are key to a successful and collaborative partnership between clients' and his team. As financial markets and clients' lives evolve, his disciplined strategy includes ongoing education and advice to ensure they are in control of their financial plan.

Alex Brown is the oldest investment bank in the United States (founded in 1800) and as a result has top tier relationships with industry leading tools and resources (i.e. lending, hedging strategies, growth capital, specialized private investment opportunities, business retirement plans, investment banking, research). Prior to joining the firm, Joe's experience in the wealth management industry includes working at Goldman Sachs in Atlanta, GA, and JP Morgan Private Bank and Citi Private Bank in Philadelphia, PA. He was responsible for advising affluent clients on holistic wealth planning matters, including strategic and tactical asset allocation, retirement and longevity planning, specialized private investments, cash flow planning, trust & estate guidance, and general income tax issues.

His education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration with a dual major in Finance and Real Estate from Temple University. He graduated magna cum laude when he earned his Master's in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. He completed Wharton's University of Pennsylvania's Executive Education Client Psychology program as well as their Neuroscience of Business curriculum. Joe holds the Series 7 and 66 licenses, and is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) professional.

Joe is an active member in the Jewish Federation of Philadelphia, and the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council. He is also on the board of the non-profit Giveadelphia and the non-profit Diversity in Blockchain.

He is a native of Philadelphia, PA and he lives with his wife and two children in the Philly suburbs.
