Creating simplicity out of complexity is Russ’ strong suit. That’s why he enjoys working with executives and others in the Healthcare and Technology industries, creating financial plans designed to achieve their goals and free them to focus on what matters most. Being involved with innovative people who are trying to find new solutions to life-size problems is what makes Russ excited to come to work every day.

He applies his 15 years of institutional fixed income experience to helping high-net-worth individuals and families take control of their financial lives. He strives to give clients the confidence to pursue their passions.

Prior to joining Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James, Russ focused on fixed income, working with institutions at Deutsche Bank/JP Morgan/Bear Stearns. He attended Boston University and earned a B.A. degree from St. Lawrence University. Prior to college, Russ spent four years at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire.

Russ formerly served on the Board of Advisors for Life Science Cares, a collective effort of the life sciences industry focused on eliminating poverty in the greater Boston area. He has also been involved with the Cranberry Cup Charitable Association, which for many years has supported the Asperger/Autism Network, the Foundation Fighting Blindness and JDRF. He lives in Wenham, Mass., with his wife, Marisa, and their three children: Lucy, Adeline and Sam.
