Magda Salgado
Magda Salgado Assistant VP, Client Advisor

Magda started her career in finance in her hometown of Miami, Florida, at Citibank IPB servicing Latin American clients. During her time at Citibank, Magda assisted a team that managed $500M USD in total assets from foreign nationals domiciled in Ecuador, Venezuela, Brazil and Peru. She also earned her Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, which allowed her to continue growing her careers in the financial industry.

In 2008, Magda moved to Credit Agricole on Brickell Key in Miami. As the head assistant to a banker managing $700M in assets, Magda traveled to Mexico and Peru, where she met clients in their homes or businesses to discuss their needs and the process of strategy implementation and returns. Magda inherited nearly $100M in assets and began direct management.

Credit Agricole decided to exit the market in 2016, and Magda had two options: stay and rebuild or find a new home for herself and her clients. Magda chose to move to Alex. Brown – Raymond James and successfully transferred 100 percent of her book of business to continue seamlessly serving her clients.

Today Magda continues to effectively find the best solutions for her clients amid challenging market environments.
