Chris Krastel is the Vice President of Alternatives Distribution & Product Management and is responsible for the fundraising, marketing, and client-servicing efforts for the hedge fund platform. Chris has worked for Alex. Brown and its predecessor firm Deutsche Bank for over 15 years.

Before taking on his current role in 2014, he spent four years as a portfolio consultant, assisting client advisors with asset allocation and investment selection for their clients. Chris also spent seven years as a research analyst for long-only separate account managers and mutual funds at Deutsche Bank. Before re-joining Deutsche Bank in 2010, Chris was a product manager at Legg Mason focused on fixed income solutions.

Chris received a B.S. in Mass Communication from Towson University and an M.B.A. from Loyola University in Maryland.
