Christy brings over two decades of industry experience to the Founders & Partners Advisory Group at Alex. Brown where she enhances the financial well-being of individual clients, institutions, and small businesses. Christy specializes in ERISA retirement plans, and she is well-positioned to create tailored strategies for plan sponsors and investment committees, often serving as the primary consultant to plan administrators and conducting enrollment and plan participant meetings for defined benefit, defined contribution, and non-qualified retirement plans.

Christy is a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor™ through the National Association of Plan Advisors and a Certified 401(k) Professional® through The Retirement Advisor University in Collaboration with UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education. Prior to joining Alex. Brown, Christy worked at Merrill (a Bank of America company) for 16 years.

Originally from Virginia, Christy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Greensboro College. She has two daughters and outside of the office, enjoys being outdoors running or skiing in the winter. She is an active participant in the REACH Women’s Network. Christy contributes her time and resources to helping the community as a long-time supporter of the YMCA, H.O.P.E. of Winston Salem, and Habitat for Humanity in Forsyth County.
