Will Taylor is a Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor at Alex. Brown | Raymond James, where he leads a specialized team serving a select group of high-net-worth clients. His clientele includes C-suite executives, business founders and partners, professional athletes, institutional investors, and individuals navigating significant liquidity events.

With deep expertise in investment strategy and financial planning, Will is committed to helping clients make intentional, impactful decisions with their wealth. His mission is to empower individuals to use their financial resources to enrich their lives, support their families, and make meaningful contributions to the communities they care about.

Will graduated from the College of Charleston in 2011 and began his career in Merrill Lynch’s training program. He earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation in 2017. His work has received national recognition, including:

In 2021, Will transitioned his practice to Alex. Brown, where he continues to serve clients nationwide. Based in St. Petersburg, FL, he works from the Raymond James/Alex. Brown international headquarters and enjoys life with his family.

Outside of his professional work, Will serves on the board of the Robert Irvine Foundation, a nonprofit founded by Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine. The foundation supports veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their families through a variety of impactful programs and initiatives.

Private Wealth Advisor is a designation awarded by Raymond James to financial advisors who have demonstrated mastery in anticipating and managing the expansive financial needs of high-net-worth individuals, families and organizations.

Each year InvestmentNews recognizes 40 industry professions under the age of 40 based on factors including accomplishments as exhibited by their credentials and achievements in their industry-related projects, contributions to the industry, quality of leadership within the financial advice field, and promise/commitment to the field. The rankings weigh the scores in Quality and Growth more heavily than other areas. Time period upon which the rating is based is from 12/31/2022 - 12/31/2023, and was released on 6/20/2024. The Forbes Next-Gen Wealth Advisors Best-In-State rankings, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criterion, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. Those advisors that are considered are under 40, have a minimum of four years' experience, and the algorithm weighs factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass the highest standards of best practices.
