A graduate of Cornell University with Honors and Distinction in Applied Economics and Business Management, Jamie Zahringer began his investment career in New York at the Broad Street headquarters of Drexel Burnham Lambert. Eight years later he was part of a group who established a new office in Greenwich, Connecticut for Kidder, Peabody & Co. Within two years it was Kidder's most successful office by average productivity nationwide. In 1999 he was recruited by Deutsche Bank, Alex Brown to join their Greenwich office which grew to be the highest grossing office for Alex Brown in the United States.

In 2004, Deutsche Bank, Alex Brown promoted Jamie to Regional Executive and asked him to bring his sophisticated Wall Street and Greenwich experience to south Florida. He established offices in Palm Beach and Miami, creating a new wealth management business for Alex Brown, and successfully ran it for 15 years. Miami is now among the top producing branches at Alex. Brown.

Jamie is focused on building Founders and Partners into the premier team at Alex Brown. With the support of his internal and external partners and the investment banking division, Founders and Partners provides specialized attention to entrepreneurs and investors who anticipate having a substantial liquidity event. Leveraging the firms' middle market resources in certain industries of focus such as Consumer & Retail, Diversified Industrials, Energy, Financial Services, Health Care, Real Estate, Sustainability & Renewable Energy, Technology & Services including Fintech, Jamie connects investment bankers to entrepreneurs and business owners. 

When managing wealth for private clients, family offices, and holdings companies, Jamie utilizes other internal partners and the outstanding equity, fixed income, and alternative investment research departments within Raymond James. He also maintains a strong relationship with the Private Institutional Client desk which reviews and offers unique private equity investments for consideration. The PIC desk is for sophisticated clients or family offices with at least $50 million of assets.

Away from the office, Jamie enjoys playing golf, skiing and spending time with his wife and five children.
