Kennie started his career in the financial service industry in 1992. As a Certified Investment Management Analyst®, he uses state-of-the-art investment theory to provide objective investment advice and guidance to individuals and institutions. He has met extensive experience and ethical requirements, in addition to successfully completing advanced investment management consulting coursework, through the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Kennie holds certifications in guided portfolio management and as a financial planning professional, as well as Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses. He is also licensed in life, accident, health, variable annuities, and long-term care. Kennie is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. He earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan, and is a Certified Investment Management Analyst®.
The personal experiences of his life are natural bridges to the strong connections he has with his clients. His mom and sisters, all strong women, manage the money in their households. Experiencing how a difficult traditionally litigated divorce negatively affected his younger sister and his entire family, his thought was there must be a better way, especially when children are involved. He truly sees the value in a cooperative and collaborative process for a divorce that removes the courtroom entirely. Kennie’s father is a physician and his godfather is a dentist. He was also a licensed dentist before a car accident prevented him from practicing. So, he truly comprehends the financial concerns of healthcare professionals.
Kennie lives with his wife Corliss in Tampa and is the proud father of Kendyl and Kennie Jr.
