Before joining Raymond James, Matthew was a wealth strategist and financial advisor with Strategic Financial Partners (MassMutual); owner of Alliance Law & Counseling, with focused practice areas of estate planning, probate, and business law; a financial advisor with Ashford Advisors (Guardian Life Insurance); and managing associate at the Pickler Law Firm.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and a Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and with pro-bono honors.
In his free time, Matthew is a member of a barbecue team that competes around the Southeast. He also enjoys reading, University of Tennessee football, and spending time with his wife and two dogs.
