For more than 30 years, John has understood the importance of financial planning and has developed an expertise in wealth conservation and transfer strategies, charitable planning, business disposition and the use of insurance in estate planning. He earned a Master of Science in Financial Services degree from The American College and his B.A. in Business Administration from Rollins College. John values ongoing education to continue to grow and expand his expertise, and to that end, he has completed several distinguished industry certifications that demonstrate his commitment to wealth management planning.

He has earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation, specifically designed for wealth managers who work with affluent clients, focusing on the life cycle of wealth: accumulation, preservation and distribution. He has also completed the rigorous Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) program, which focuses on creating plans and financial planning for the future. In addition, he achieved the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation to demonstrate his breadth and depth of knowledge in insurance and how to manage risk.

John and his wife, Mary, enjoy spending time with their family, including three active grandchildren. He is an outgoing person who relishes the opportunity to meet new people and share life experiences. John stays active by hiking, a favorite spot is Yosemite National Park, and by riding his Peloton bike. He embraces his love of music by singing backup vocals and playing percussion in a contemporary Christian rock band at his church.
